Hey, everybody. I wanted to make an update video to show you a powerful new
feature that I have added into Keyword Canine that really doubles its value. More than that Triples its value and I wanted to show it to you real quick. It’s very simple
but very powerful.
Let’s say we’re analyzing a set of keywords. I pulled this one from the niches’
list. “Wine tasting New York City” has good traffic, high CPC and lots of
advertiser competition but it has got an easy ranking, lots of exact domain
names, et cetera.
Now you can see that the page links number, the number of links aimed at the
page it’s ranking is a link and I can click that link which takes me to a
“Create Backlinks Report” form where I can enter any URL and click “Create
report” and incidentally, that’s this button over here. So click “Create
report” and then go over to my reports’ list and in just a minute, it will
have created a backlink report which I’m going to show it to you. So I’m going
to pause the video until that’s done.
OK. Our report is finished. You can see we can view the report or download it as
a comma-separated value or a tab-separated value file. I will just click “View”
and now for the real awesome report. We have an anchor text breakdown.
It shows you the anchor text found of all the links that it located and you can see that the great majority of them, the vast majority of them, the anchor text is wine
events. It also gives you the page rank breakdown and the no follow, do follow
breakdown and then it shows you all the links with their page rank and anchor
text and the status and page rank descending order.
So you can see with the pink ones being the no follow links. You can really get
a detailed understanding of how the page is ranking for the keywords and you can
see in this case, the vast majority of the keywords do not even directly
correlate with the phrase that the page is ranking for which makes it even more
apparent that it would be very easy to rank for the keywords in question here.
So this is a new report. This is now available. The reports will last for 30
days and then they expire and you want to rerun them again and you can enter any URL to get a backlink report like that. You don’t have to click on the
number and the page links column from the reports from the analysis page.
So you can get a backlink report on any URL you want to. So that’s a massive new feature of Keyword Canine and I wanted to show it to you. Definitely extremely powerful and very easy to use and help you understand what you’re up against for any individual ranking page.
